A friend called me Candance-Chimamanda. I laughed so hard!

He thinks I am anti-Feminism on Twitter, but assertive and dogged offline

First, I am an Igbo woman. That is all I need, to be as bold, assertive, proud and all that

Feminism didn't teach me boldness
I share some of the ideals of Feminism and find it really helpful for cultures that are repressive, not mine.

I also think that the Feminism I see here on Twitter is hypocritical, share a lot of double standards and against science.
I also feel that in guise of Feminism, we are seeing power dynamics play out. And when you can't get something simply because you might have been biologically unable to, you blame men. When in fact, men are just being men.
As competitive, prone to taking higher risks than women, but we want to water them down.

Naming an all-male cabinet is patriarchal, but naming an all-female cabinet is girl power.

That is double standards and it smells
The whole ideology hit the rock for me when a popular Feminist said I have to denounce Christianity to be a good Feminist. Lol.

Many feminists have an aversion to understanding history or life in general and that's a turn off for me
You want to cancel the Igbo apprenticeship system because girls are not apprentices. That's nonsense to me

You want to cancel God because the Bible doesn't state that he has female angels or apostles. That's nonsense to me
I am of the opinion that men and women are capable of different things, have different biological formations that make them want different things- which is OKAY!

If you are an exception, don't make the exception the general truth. Simple.
