I've decided that humans look at the world out of habit more than anything.
Trickle down economics never works, but people think it works because of the image in their mind
Usually people think if the rich at the top of any pyramid. So they think money trickles from the rich to their inferiors downwards.
But in the nature of things it's the poor at the very top. They can't retain money so it trickles through their fingers to the next layer down
So as money goes down through the economy a little bit more is retained at each level, until it finally pools and collects in the pockets of the rich at the very bottom of the money table.
And if the government want to put money into the economy, they give money to the rich and it just collects and the bottom in a big money puddle.
It just happens that humans have got a moral view of the world which is in contradiction to economics.
