With some quick math, sloppy research, and a guestimation of my habits, my casual use case (online conference calls, near-constant music/video streaming, playing FFXIV, and a 1 60GB game download per month) would land me just 3.6GB above this proposed data cap. I mention that 60GB game download a month specifically because I have Playstation Plus and there's usually one game they offer that I would download. This is on top of my regular habit of buying 1 new game a month, which thanks to the global pandemic would be a download. (2/3)
This does not cover the approximate 330 GB I've downloaded in my excitement for acquiring a PS5 via BestBuy preorder this month.
This is me being thankful that my parents do not want to deal with budgeting our internet bandwidth and just pay for the unlimited plan. (3/3)

Almost forgot: this is only me.
My parents watch, stream, and video call with relatives sporadically, uses about 15 wifi security cameras to watch the house, and my mom uses an Amazon Alexa which constantly streams news headlines in text. (4/3)

Also there's my brother who happened to stay temporarily while searching for a new apartment right when the pandemic struck and has his own internet-connected things, as well as my nieces and friend coming over on a weekly basis. (5/3)
I realize that I could have gone back and said that this thread would be 6 posts instead of 3, but I found it fitting that a post complaining about bandwidth limits would double over with what I had to say. (6/3)
