'The Corbyn left don't want to win elections' I smugly say to people who traipsed around the country on cold, wet December nights to knock on doors to, er, win an election.
I remember one canvas out in Harrow, the weather was awful, it was pitch black, the wind was so bad that it blew the sheets off the board at the start and later it rained so hard the paper started to disintegrate. Lol. But sure keep telling me I didn't want to win.
Harrow btw, is an hour and twenty minute train journey from my house but I still went out after doing a full day's work. As did tens of thousands of other ordinary people who wanted Corbyn to win throughout the campaign. Fuck you pricks who shit on those people.
Another one was Crawley (1hr+ journey), Momentum got a London crew together, the local organisers couldn't believe 40 of us trekked out and meant they could leaflet areas they normally never would. Days after the election, didn't I see the candidate laying into Momentum on here.
Oh yes, the day after I went canvassing in Bermondsey, Neil Coyle published this.
