What if investors display lack of #ethics? What does the founder do?

A #founder I know is building an EdTech startup. Bootstrapped currently. Revenues in. Profitable. Customers love his product. He thinks it is the right time to raise capital to scale. Approaches a marquee VC firm.

How do you think we address this? If you are an #VC with capital, does that allow you to throw ethics away? My next steps:
a. Call the partner and let them know.
b. Go to press and expose this behaviour.
c. Help the founder with legal action

Hopefully the partner does not say chalta hai! If you are a #founder who has faced this, talk to us. It is time we create a list for founder on investors who are not worth their time. Entrepreneurship is already hard - we don't need to make it harder.
