Trek fam… last year on 12/1 our dear friend @rockdoggydog passed suddenly at 42. We’re still mourning. I still can’t believe he’s gone. His brother Ryan is giving his stuff away today to friends who want to remember him & I asked for any Trek stuff. It arrived yesterday.

The TNG Science Division throw was PERFECT. He also sent two of his t-shirts, this being the first.

Plus this one. Rocky loved Star Wars and Disneyland as well, and although neither of them are what I’m into myself I’m thrilled to have another shirt of his that represented two things he loved.

He was a giant in a cocktail and bartending world, and some of our friends got some of his cocktail glasses. I would’ve love those too, but these things are perfect. They were the right things of his for me. Thank you so much, Ryan and Keith.

There was a massive memorial bash for Rocky in December; the bash and his history are in the linked article. His close friends who organized it asked that people dress to the nines, as Rocky was always a sharp dresser. (Article here.) I asked a mutual friend who was organizing it if I should wear a suit or wear my Picard jacket with proper undershirt & rank pips, & he said “PICARD! Rocky would love that!” And that’s my avatar pic, y’all. Taken just before we left for the memorial. My outfit was a huge hit.

Rocky loved #StarTrek (and Star Wars and Disneyland!), and I just wanted my Star Trek peeps on Twitter to know a little more about him. Y’all would have loved him, as we all did.
