Let’s say you have $100

Would you risk $12 for the possibility to make $24?

Of course you would

Welcome to swing trading in the stock market
Ex

There’s stock that sells for $100

Support at $88, price target at $124

If the stock falls to $88 your stop kicks in and you sell

You walk away with $88

The other side of this is you wait a few weeks and the price goes up to $124 now you sell and walk with

$124
Like Gerald Peters ( @fullauto11 ) says

“The game is fractal”

Person 1 with $100 can take this trade with 1 share

Person 2 w/ $1,000 can take this trade but with 10 shares

P3 w/ $10,000 can take this trade with 100 shares

P4 w/ $100,000 can take this trade with 1,000 shares
If Person 1 with $100 is right he makes $24 x 1 = $24

If Person 2 with $1,000 is right he makes $24 x 10 = $240

If Person 3 with $10,000 is right he makes $24 x 100= $2,400

If Person 4 with $10,000 is right he makes $24 x 1,000 = $24,000
If they are wrong multiply $8 however many shares they each other

And that will tell you how much they lose

P1 = -$8
P2= -$80
P3=-$800
P4=-$8,000

Simple right?
Why is this important?
What’s the point of this thread?

That It took them all the same amount of time to trade the same exact stock to get the exact same reward ( +$24)

If you aren’t willing to take this trade with $100 you won’t be willing to take this trade with $100,000
Therefore people who want to learn this skill but want to know how much money should you start with...you start small and increase your position sizes as you go and get more money

But you aren’t going to wake up one day and all of a sudden know how to create money with money
You are trying to master a skill

A skill that allows you to take advantage of opportunities, a skill that allows you to gain your financial independence from a system that thrives off your ignorance

A skill that puts food on the table

Start early, stay consistent
