They simply refer the patients to us only at a later stage when their disease has progressed irreversibly, when shit has hit the roof.

Saw a patient who has been taking an antibiotic Co-amoxyclav for a year at a stretch. Because the ayurvedic doctor she was seeing thought it was absolutely okay to continue it everytime he wrote her a new prescription.

We get so many cases where we wish that the patient had come to our hospital earlier. By the time they're here, it's too late.

And don't even get me started on hormonal pills. Alternative medicine doctors prescribe those like snacks- Estrogen pills to estrogen dependent tumors

Alt medicine practitioners had already been prescribing modern medicine.
But the govts recent policy to allow these doctors to practice pursue surgical sciences, puts at risk, once again, only the most downtrodden, underprivileged and backward classes of the society.
