At this point emaluting old Nintendo games is better than begging for a limited time half assed port
The best level up system in rpgs are ones where you’re fully healed upon leveling
Every Pokemon game after Black and White 2 should’ve included difficulty options and not have them locked behind a key system
I can enjoy story more than gameplay but the gameplay still has to be good
Games that punish players for picking an easy mode are awful. Example being Megaman X8 where you can’t even fight the final boss
Sometimes I feel Lunar Silver Star would be better with random encounters. Overworld enemies can trap you into corners forcing you to fight them to progress
Mega Man X set it self up to be a great series, but ultimately fell off after X5
Video game ost shouldn’t be written off as “not real music”
Many composers work their heart and soul into themes appreciated by fans

Both turn based and action rpgs have their pros and cons. Not everything will be better as an action rpg or vice versa
Gonna be honest, I’d like to see a remake of Oracle of Seasons or Minish Cap more than Skyward Sword HD
What I want more than anything from Nintendo is another Kid Icarus game. Uprising was so good and there’s potential for more in a sequel
I’ll never understand why Falcom let NISA handle their games after the controversy of Ys VIII’s old translation. Not that NISA hasn’t improved since then but Xseed handled their games fine without too much issue
More turn based rpgs should have a speed up option
Super Mario 64 is an 8/10 game on the first floor but gets progressively worse in the basement and top floor
And speaking of this game, 100 coin stars are awful
The hardest difficulty isn’t always the best one. Some hard modes are straight up awful
Society has progressed past the need for silent protagonists in story heavy games
Overworld encounters > random encounters
2D Sonic games are better than 2D Mario games
But 3D Mario games are better

DLC should never cost more than the price of the game itself
Also if your game has a seasonal pass, there should be an option to buy content separately
