Theresa is fostering for two week (AND IT BETTER BE TWO WEEKS) a skinny but lovey kitty that a neighbor found yesterday. Theresa says this is the sweetest kitty she’s ever seen. All she wants is rubs and kisses. She calls her Big Eyes. I want to be mad but the kitty needs help.

Big Eyes foster kitty is really skinny. So I’m giving her lots of extra dinner.

Theresa and The Baked Potato spent the night in the cottage hanging out with foster kitty Big Eyes.

Big Eyes the Foster Kitty Update: she’s still super skinny but doing ok. Very lovey. Happy in quarantine cottage. Also, has the longest tail. Like, ridiculously long.

Big Eyes is in the back cottage. She’s fine. The Baked Potato actually loves her. But she’s so skinny.

5 October
Theresa and The Baked Potato slept with Big Eyes the foster punk. She likes Bakey.

Home. Me no like 13 hour days. Rude. Back to work early. Huzzugh...MeanCat met me on the front porch etc etc. then ate a snack with SweetDog. I also checked in with Big Eyes the foster kitty who loves The Baked Potato. Wow, her tail is insanely long. Anyway. Happy to be home...

Here’s your lunchtime sanity break: Big Eyes enjoying the day with Theresa and probably The Baked Potato. She’s feeling better.

Here’s your lunchtime sanity break: The Baked Potato loving on Big Eyes the foster kitty. She loves Bakey.

SweetDog and The Baked Potato wish all a good night. Bakey sends a special wish to his first girlfriend...Big Eyes the Foster Kitty. Who is feeling better.

...............................10 October 2020...............................

So the vet stopped by to check on Big Eyes the foster kitty. She hasn’t gained weight & didn’t shake her cold so she’s now on antibiotics. Can’t travel for possible placement up north so....WE ARE JUST GONNA KEEP HER FOREVER. SO BAKED POTATO HAS A GIRLFRIEND!!

First, the anarchist agitator orangeys block the hallway. Then they block the main supply route to Fort Boney, leaving SweetDog besieged. I’m just glad Big Eyes is in quarantine cottage and not joining in on the lawlessness. Plus I’m actually very tired.

The Baked Potato let Big Eyes sleep with Hedgey, so you know he’s in love cuz he adores Hedgey and Lamby most in this world.

11 October
We let Big Eyes in to briefly see the agitator Orangeys. They’re now all chasing each other around and scheming and plotting. Great.

‘And the Orangeys bowed & prayed,
To the Big Eyes god they made.

And Big Eyes flashed her warning,
In the cabal that she was forming...’

And skinner whispered in the sounds of silence.

The Baked Potato sleeping in the kitty room with his crush, Big Eyes. Also Lady Orangey is in her box. It’s peaceful here. By design and daily effort. Also MeanCat is outside cuz I can hear the squirrels yelling at him.

Here’s your lunch time orangey plus one sanity break: Lady Orangey, Extra Orangey, and Big Eyes are not happy about being kept out of the kitchen while Theresa bakes a chicken. They are not happy at all.

12 October
Then I spring the Orangeys plus Big Eyes from the front room so they can run free and...kiss the dogs. Good lord.

Meanwhile, Big Eyes is all flirty mcFlirty with The Baked Potato. She’s also taken over one of the Vampire Bat Orangeys’ sleep coffins.

13 Oct
Home. The Orangeys had third lunch and are happy. Lady Orangey gets ice cubes in her water cuz Theresa loves her. I remain suspicious of all things orangey. Not sure where Big Eyes was. She’s probably in the tub with my iPad watching Netflix. LAW AND ORDER NOW!! HARRUMPH!!

Historians would later marvel at the speed of the orangey-krieg offensive, taking over Fort Boney within days. Big Eyes stole The Baked Potato’s prized chewy while Extra Orangey did, well, not quite sure what he’s doing next to SweetDog. But it’s historic.
