Jones has made this team as good as conceivably possible for the next 2 seasons, which with some injury luck of our own and bad luck for others, could see us challenging and maybe even winning a ring. A+ given his own objective. The reality is though, we are still a tier 2 team

Think the smarter play would have been to align going all in closer to when DA/Mikal are entering their prime, creating more overlap and pushing us into that tier 1 bracket

I can understand that people just want to be as good as possible as soon as possible, but there was a reasonable chance we were going to make the playoffs this season with some bench upgrades alone, likely enough to keep Booker satisfied

I know most people view me as overly negative, but I realise you can’t change the past, which is why, given we are almost certain to win a playoff series, I'm still super excited for the season ahead. Just can’t help but think about what could have been if we fall short
