Au where bts are a surfer music boy band called Beyond The Sand from the music company Bodacious Hits. It consists of 7 members. The leader is RM, formerly known as Reef Monster, a nod to his surfing skills.
Su-Boy, stands for Surfer Boy, was also a great surfer, though because of his pale skin, fans often joke he's never been to the beach a day in his life.
They taught J-dope how to surf when he joined, as he was more into beach volleyball, and now he's good enough to rival them.

The oldest member, Jin, isnt even from the bay area and had been to the beach exactly twice in his life when he first joined the group, but through his hard work and practice, he's gotten pretty good at surfing, even placing in competitions a few times.
Jungkook, often called The Golden Surfer, caught Bodacious Hits' attention when he did a handstand in the middle of a surfing competition and still managed to place. He got offers from all sorts of companies for entertainment and sports
He joined BH after running into RM hunting for crabs on the beach and was mesmerized by his thighs.
The last two actually joined together, being best friends from high school. The younger chose the name C, as it was simple, sounded cool, and fit with an ocean theme (sea).

The last member, Jammin', has always been more into swimming than surfing. He often drags the other members out scuba diving with him.
They debuted with their catchy hit single "We Are Sunburn-proof", which has so far proven to be mostly true. They've tried out various styles, from upbeat "Boyz with Sun" to soothing "Summer Day" to their darker themed "Blood, Salt, and Tears".
The members have even put out solo work, most memorable being Su-boy's "August Sea", in which he famously claimed he's "a sea boy, cause he's from the sea."
