To students or alumni of Michigan State University or James Madison College,

Recently there was an article printed which brought attention to the sexual harassment of a member of the Michigan State Republicans to at least four members of the James Madison College of 2024.

It showcases the process in which a plan is formulated within the official MSU Republicans group chat to create a false account and send explicit messages to “liberal” women.

This group chat, which holds over 150 members, had not one person call out this member or attempt to stop this member. Instead, they received encouragement.

A member leaked screenshots of this group to expose the grotesque nature of what was happening in the group chat.

Please take some time to read this article (at your own risk, it sickens me to see this) and sign your name on this letter to the President of the University and the Interim Dean of the college of James Madison.

This cannot be tolerated and an investigation must be done. Alumni and Current students of the university and the college, we must hold this institution to a higher standard.
