Why the Europa League > Champions league, a thread:
(RTs appreciated)
Europa league has more teams in it than UCL. More teams = more competition. Therefore if you win UEL you’ve been the best out of more teams than if you win the UCL, meaning the UEL is tougher.
The UCL is a corporate money making machine and is everything wrong with modern football. It is fraudulently called the ‘champions’ league even though it is not exclusively for champions.
The UEL is full of pure football and includes less rich teams from a wide range of countries
Real Madrid have won the most champions leagues (13) which is more than twice as many times as Sevilla (the most successful team) have won the UEL (6), proving that consistent success is much harder in the UEL as it is tougher.
To win the UEL, you have to play more games than you do to win the UCL, meaning you need more consistency and making it much tougher.
The UEL trophy (15kg) is twice as heavy as the UCL trophy (7.5kg). The UEL trophy is LITERALLY a bigger prize. This proves that even UEFA value the UEL much more compared to the UCL.
Messi and Ronaldo are widely recognised as two of the greatest players of all time. Between them they have won 9 UCLs. However, neither of them have EVER won the UEL, proving that they have found success in the UCL much easier than in the UEL.
Henrik Larsson holds the record for the most goals scored in the UEL in total (31). However, there are 21 players who have scored more goals than this in the UCL, including Cristiano Ronaldo who has scored 100 more (131). This proves it is easier to score goals in the UCL.
This is the end of the thread. I am sure there is plenty more evidence to prove that UEL > UCL, but I am confident that this is enough to convince you all. Like, follow and RT to enlighten the world.
