We should lower income taxes for women.

They should either enjoy a completely tax-free period of their working lifetime (ie. childbearing years) or income earned should be completely tax-free up to a certain threshold ($200,000).

Men’s income taxes should increase.
Before the MRAs fill my @‘s with their complaints I want to lay out why this is fair.

So long as we refuse to 1) pay women equal to men 2) provide universal childcare 3) distribute unpaid labor equally, then we have to make an adjustment elsewhere. No income taxes is a solution.
Reducing or eliminating income taxes for women would combat the gender wage gap. It would also combat the gender wealth gap.

Did you know women have only $0.32 in financial assets to every $1 a man does?

Yes, it really is that bad.
Additionally, more women than men have student loan debt, they carry larger balances, and they stay in debt longer.

This combined with taking time out of the workforce leaves them at a permanent disadvantage in wealth accumulation.

So we should reduce their taxes to compensate.
