Rating the 2021 statewide candidates logos, a thread.
Attorney General
Smith: 1/10, stop.
Taylor: 4/10, live. laugh. love.
Jones: 10/10, bold, fresh, leaning into the future!
Herring: 8/10, it was one of the best logos when Herring won the first time...almost a decade ago
1/3 Lt Governor
Ayala: 5/10, recycled previous logo
Goldman: 8/10, love the retro feel, just like the candidate
Guzman: 4/10, reminds me of a Chicago mayor's race logo with the colors
Perryman: 8/10, first logo was a knockoff of McAuliffe's 2013 logo, this is much sharper
2/3 Lt Governor

Rasoul: 10/10, at last a progressive logo, with truly a genuinely progressive candidate (since 2008!)
Warren: 2/10
Ahluwalia: 6/10, it's Jeb!
Allen: 9/10, drop the "for"
3/3 Lt Governor

Davis: 7/10, recycled his '17 logo into his '19 campaign and now '21. Recall seeing him taking bids for a logo on fiverr or something for '17. Needs to drop the USA graphic filler
Hugo: 5/10, recycled his Delegate logo, dropped the waving bacon & added Virginia
1/2 Governor

Fairfax: 0/10
JCF: 7/10, Virginia campaign tribute to Elizabeth Warren campaigns, but without the plan
McClellan: 7/10, drop the "for", solid font, steep angle (too progressive?)
McAuliffe: 2/10, we all know this is just a placeholder
2/2 Governor

Chase: 5/10, recycling her VA Senate logo after ripping off America's Best logo (Chase Freedom logo).
Cox: 8/10, nothing fancy, old school vibes, gets the job done--drop the "for"
Rutledge: 2/10, like the simplistic no frills logo, but who?
Santini: 2/10, who?
