THREAD: Trudeau dragged his feet and now Canada lags behind every other G7 country in terms of when the vaccine will be available to our citizens. Canada will have a vaccine later than rest of G7 because the Libs waited until Aug. to start signing deals. https://nationalpost.com/news/politics/trudeau-warns-covid-19-vaccine-will-come-later-to-canada-than-other-countries">https://nationalpost.com/news/poli...
Some countries already had more-developed vaccine manufacturing capacity, but others like Spain re-tooled to produce vaccines that were likely to be approved, so that their citizens could be vaccinated quickly. Canada did not. What is the Trudeau govt& #39;s explanation for that?
Mexico’s Foreign Minister has said Mexico will begin getting the Pfizer vaccine by mid-December. Last time I checked, Pfizer is not produced domestically in Mexico. https://www.reuters.com/article/health-coronavirus-mexico-vaccines-idUSKBN2842D7">https://www.reuters.com/article/h...
As I said months ago on @TheHerleBurly while other countries were signing deals with pharma corps in Mar. & Apr., Canada entered into a failed agreement in May between the NRC & CanSino - a company funded by Beijing & producing its vaccine with the PLA. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OWQ-gZ6SNM&feature=youtu.be">https://www.youtube.com/watch... https://www.youtube.com/watch...
