Creating this short thread for persons interested in becoming a PMI certified project manager, PMP.

1. You need 35 hours of project management training by a PMI Registered Education Provider (REP).

2. If you have a 4yr degree then 3yrs experience in leading projects is required.
If you don’t have a degree then 5yrs of experience is required.

3. Once you’ve met the education and experience requirements, apply for the PMP exam here: http://certification.pmi.org/launch/applica
