Not just ED and ICU nurses are tired.

Med surg nurses: we ALSO have COVID+ patients. Still sick as shit, but not requiring ICU, while balancing other very sick patients.

Med surg units also take drips, take BiPap, and have complicated patients. And we have to take 4,5,6 at
A time. Home health nurses: out in the literal goddamned hotzone, in your communities, where pepe don't want to mask or stay home. We are trying to balance keeping our patients safe, and keep them out of the hospitals.

Don't forget your other nurses in this. Your clinic
Nurses, outpatient procedures (like Dialysis). We are a team, and seriously, we are an important part of that team.

Stay home.

Mask up.

Nurses who have never worked home health saying shit like this. If they REFUSE US, there isn't much we can do. We call, and call. Drive by/drop in. Call docs. Call family.

But yes, we're making excuses.
