No love, respectfully.
If I was an opp I would not be encouraging anyone to learn, for themselves, how the government works. Nor would I be encouraging us to hold ourselves to the same standard of knowledge we hold ppl seeking to become citizens of our country.
Respectfully. https://twitter.com/ineedja_kadeeja/status/1331297751833980940
I'll first say that folks acting like I said something shocking pout to the test without mention of a civics lesson. They go together. The object of taking the *actual* *existing* test in my hypothetical is for us learn, not as a condition of citizenship.

There have been multiple studies over the years that show most natural citizens wouldn't pass the US Citizenship test. Civics and gov't are no longer automatic core education. How is it negative to say we should be better informed about how sh*t works?

When I'm NOT saying it should be done as any type of stipulation or condition of anything? Alabama's governor doesn't know the 3 branches of Gov't. Texas' governor thought PR had electoral college votes. It's ridiculous. https://twitter.com/ineedja_kadeeja/status/1331304728190480385
But seriously, if we've gotten to the point where people are genuinely arguing with me for saying the American education system failed citizens in preparating to actually *participate* in it, and we need to learn more ... if THAT'S wrong, then we're too far into the upside down.
