Hey guys, I'm seeing a lot of excitement expressed about government getting boring again, and I hope you'll rethink that. That false sense of security under Obama cost us control of the government at a time when an energized base could have made so much possible.

Nothing is fixed. Nothing is solved. Having a Democrat in the White House isn't magic. There's so, so much work to be done, and getting back to how things were before isn't nearly enough to aim for. How things were before SUCKED for a lot of people.

The establishment (Dem too) would love for you to go back to sleep and stop *asking for things.* I mean, who are we to ASK FOR THINGS? Just let them go to work (occasionally) and fistbump across the aisle while expecting us to fall in line, keep quiet. WE DO NOT NEED TO BE QUIET.

(To be clear, I believe the onus is on the Democrats & Biden administration to energize us--by actually DOING THINGS TO HELP US--and not on us to magically be energized.)

To me, being frustrated with people for not showing up when you're doing nothing for them is like being frustrated with kindling for not burning when you haven't even lit a match. The burden's on the party to inspire and earn allegiance.
