At the interview stage I came prepared with a physical portfolio.

I was really confident in my work so I printed my best bits out to showcase.

It’s better to demonstrate that you are capable rather than just saying your are.

Finally, I was tasked to do a press release for my interview.

I did it on a former player resigning for the club.

It showcased my writing/research skills and displayed my knowledge on the club’s history.

In hindsight, I wouldn& #39;t say my CV at the start of this thread is the & #39;best& #39; example, but it got me an interview so it definitely stood out.

I& #39;ve updated and changed my CV a lot since - I& #39;ll share if people are interested?

Quite enjoyed looking back at this process now I& #39;m 18 months in the industry.
