While a lot of talk is about state legislatures going their own way with electors, I have always stated the way that should happen would be by SCOTUS ruling(s) giving them cover to do so. This is the best path, in my opinion....
There are less ideal paths as far as I am concerned, but they are paths nonetheless. For example, SCOTUS ruling(s) simply determine the manner in which the election was conducted in specific states were irredeemably unconstitutional....
... this would lead to what Alan Dershowitz has been talking about a lot, in terms of ruling out 269 Electoral Votes for either candidate, hence the process goes to the House, where state delegations vote (30 states have R majority Congresspeople)....
... these paths are backup and things I have not gone into because I consider them secondary to the more ideal scenario we are aiming for. Nonetheless they should be known, in terms of what we have with multiple possibilities....
