Friends, please stop believing this clickbait. Its very easy to show clips (which reveal nothing illegal) of processes often required of election admins. I, too, experienced these trainings and were faced with the responsibility of reduplicating ballots. It's not partisan or fun. https://twitter.com/gatewaypundit/status/1331006484344426497
As an Elections Admin of a county w/ 600k+ voters, there wasn’t a single election which didn’t require our team to reduplicate (or “fix”) at least a handful of ballots. This is not new info. There is nothing scandalous about these edited clips intended to convince you of “fraud”.
Due to the recent expansion of vote-by-mail (“absentee”), the number of ballots which are rejected by voting machines scanners/tabulators have increased. This is the equivalent of a voter improperly marking a ballot, scanner rejecting, and having to start over on Election Day.
When you receive a ballot by mail, it is typically folded into a smaller envelope for ease and postal purposes. When returned, it is refolded. It may also feature unintended mistakes such as incorrect ballot markers (pens, pencils, markers, etc).
Believe it or not, our team would receive returned ballots with coffee stains, missing corners, Cheeto-finger stains, and even chewing gum smudge. Fortunately, voting machines are typically sensitive enough to reject these ballots out of caution. And that’s a good thing!
