What is Top Three Guide?

I just heard @simonsinek in A Bit of Optimism talk about "our why". To us, it seems that everyone's "why" is the same but that's false. Yet, that is why I so often think that the why behind T3G is obvious, yet it isn't.

Here's our what, who and why:
What?

Top Three Guide is firstly a website with articles about everything personal productivity-related:

- planning
- habits
- work and mental health
...

All articles have the same top 3 structure but the delivery can slightly vary:

- 3 benefits
- 3 tips
- 3 reasons
...
Who?

There are two people behind T3G

@Kjellvdv who does most of the writing and manages Twitter.

@Loki_kp who does most of the reviewing and manages Instagram.

We're still figuring out the best way to make video content.
Why?

Our goal is to help you with their daily organisation and goal-setting.

We want you to get more done in less time so that you can spend more time on friends, family and fun activities.

We're aimed at 9-5 employees but that doesn't mean that the advice won't help others.
Core principles?

We want every text to be as short as possible but balanced with detail and background. ( avg. 5-minute read)

All advice, tips and the like should be easy to understand and implement. If the advice is not actionable than it shouldn't be on the website.
What matters most to us?

We care about:

1. Climate change
2. Equal opportunities
3. Mental health
Why 3?

Well, it sounds good.

But mostly because it's easier to remember things in threes.

And also because it's short. It gives you a couple of options but not to many. More options can easily lead to a paradox of choice, which we want to avoid.
Why this thread?

As a reminder to ourselves and all readers what we stand for.

Btw, you're a legend for making it this far!
