Miqdaad Versi's Centre for Media Monitoring is a project of the Muslim Council of Britain.

It poses as the respectable, moderate face of the MCB.

But a quick glance at their panel for an upcoming event shows its true colours.

Let's look at two of them.
When at the Muslim Brotherhood's Federation of Islamic Student Societies, Amandla protested the exclusion by the UK and Ireland of the suicide bombing legitimising cleric Yusuf Al Qaradawi.

He called the hate preacher the "voice of moderation"!

Following the Manchester bombing, what was Amandla's explanation?

Yes! You guessed it! The UK's foreign policy!
The Centre for Media Monitoring promotes this evening's event as a "unique opportunity to meet" these speakers.

And that's really what the MCB is all about.

They showcase these people, because they admire them, and see them as role models.
