Millions of you are traveling for Thanksgiving, because the warm embrace of family is more important to you than spread a disease which may very well end up killing them and prolonging the suffering of the country.

Is it any wonder 74+ million people voted for trump?
You COMPLAIN about masks.

You COMPLAIN about school closures.

You COMPLAIN about not being able to eat out.

You COMPLAIN about not being able to go to the hair salon.

Then you blithely DO THE THING THAT CREATES THE CONDITIONS FOR ALL THIS TO HAVE TO HAPPEN IN THE FIRST PLACE.
Jesus tells me I have to be compassionate. I do my best. But, people, you are testing my faith to a degree I don't think has been true since Romans were feeding Christians to animals for sport.

YOU ARE MAKING IT POSSIBLE FOR THE PEOPLE YOU KNOW AND LOVE TO DIE AND DON'T CARE.
"Forgive them, Lord, for the know not what they do."

I suspect that's what that utterance form the cross was for. A final admonishment to his followers, dying on the cross. In the end, they will do dumb things. You can't help that. Each must make their own choice.
But just remember one thing: your choice to gad about the country for Thanksgiving PUTS ME AT RISK.

IT PUTS MY FAMILY AT RISK.

IT PUTS FLIGHT ATTENDANTS, GAS STATION ATTENDANTS, CONVENIENCE STORE CLERKS, GROCERY STORE CLERKS AT RISK.

IT PUTS US ALL AT RISK.
I hope and pray that I'm just being alarmist, but I know I'm not. By Christmas, the damage from Thanksgiving will be clear, and there will be unlit menorahs, unopened packages beneath Christmas trees, and families grieving over people they just saw only weeks before.
Thanksgiving is supposed to be the time we reflect on all that we have survived, all that we have, and to give hope to tomorrow. It cannot, should not, must not, be the latest mile marker on the road of pandemic mayhem. It's not too late to stop this madness. I'm begging you all.
