Remember that the majority of eSports orgs are predatory towards young designers and artists

I don& #39;t care if it& #39;s for "portfolio building" or "networking" - never do free work

I& #39;ve been approached by a few esports orgs in my time designing and none of them have offered me paid positions

I understand funding is hard when you& #39;re just starting out but if you& #39;re serious about running your org as a company you can find investors and take out loans

As a company you should be paying your employees

There& #39;s also the grey area of us still operating as freelancers under these smaller orgs, denying us of a lot of the legal protection that comes with being a real employee

To clarify this thread is in no way aimed at revenant esports or anyone involved there

The people in revenant treated me great and I never felt trapped
