GOT7 the professional thieves, thread.

Brief: They went through portals, time travel and jumped dimensions traveling to different universe to steal valuable arts, gems etc.

There's a lot of reading because I will sourced articles relating to art thefts.

#GOT7_LastPiece
Fake: Madonna of the Veil.

This was supposed to be Botticelli's piece, however it ended up being a fake. So in the #GOT7 's universe, playfully we would consider this as they took the real, replaced the fake. https://www.nationalgallery.org.uk/research/research-papers/close-examination/madonna-of-the-veil
When Madonna held baby jesus, you can see the replication with Mark holding an actual fabric. But in this scene, gradually it changed to something harden. Pieta.
Speaking of veil, there seems to be a play on words here. A veil is usually use delicately to conceal, disguises or obscures something. In the whole #GOT7_Breath mv, you see the veil floats wherever they the members goes. Even covered Jaebeom's face in the beginning.
toward the ending, you see that flights flicker and they disappear, lights flicker and they appear. When it's night time they stood out among group of people in black. Some of them changes when the time of the day changed, but especially night time they're very cocky.
That night scene with Jinyoung and Yugyeom was very apparent, when the light flicker they disappear, happen again and they reappear, this time Jinyoung went in and the next is the veil appearing. When it disappear, Jinyoung came out and Youngjae is now there.
And it's like that for multiple times with the veil floating wherever they go. They know each other, they don't know each other, but it seems like they all know each other but pretend to not know each other.
IF they're a professional group of criminals they'd have role and scouting out their places etc. They don't just steal arts, they're showcasing that it's about arts, but they also take diamonds.
Now entered the Antwerp Diamond Heist in 2003: The leader rented an office space around the Antwerp diamond center and posed as a diamond merchant in order to scout out their target. (I'm guessing it's Jaebeom in the mv? LOL) The preppy look lol. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antwerp_diamond_heist
BTW, I recommend you to read The Antwerp Diamond Heist wiki, it's very intriguing and there are video animations on youtube about it. After you read it you'd understand each of their roles in YCMN. But anyway, they're just playing merchants in Breath, scouting out their targets
They're just showing you how they did it because they took the stuff already, and they hid it nicely everywhere that you can look, 'between the pages' too. You can find gems and diamonds playing around with album teasers photos.
I even found Star Wars references in YCMN, like legit reference, Darth Vader's mask vector. Anyway, they got so professional that they don't do it in team anymore, they split up in units or solo to carry out their missions so you see that in their individual or unit scene, the
setting changed. Like Mark's setting is hinting at London or somewhere in Britain with the iconic red phone booth. Even the clothes they wear has to do with the time period and location that they're hinting to which case, which art piece. They sometimes posed as art pieces.
They posed as either the art pieces that they stole, or the famous art pieces from the painter the stolen piece is by. Sometimes it's an affiliations of and not the real one (red herrings.) They don't just show you what they did, they also hint to you what their next mission is.
In the Breath mv, the beginning and the ending is actually hinting to a very famous art theft back in 1990, on March 18 at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. How I am sure that it's this one? This is supposed to be one of the biggest case where a lot of the great art pieces
were stolen that has an accumulation of up to $500,000,000 dollars. A few recovered, but some of the biggest pieces were unable to. To further explain to you why it's this place they're hinting to. This place since 1990 have kept empty frames of the lost pieces at their museum.
They have been hinting to this place, I think since Hard Carry 2. The styling that they have changed to since then, the poster of Hard Carry 2 and 2.5. The styling for Call My Name and DYE. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isabella_Stewart_Gardner_Museum_theft
The museum itself has a very interesting history and how arts were curated there. I believed they utilized Degas's style for DYE's Trailer. Degas was one of the artist with arts stolen from Gardner Museum. The museum kept the frames empty, to leave a place for the lost pieces to
one day return to them. The posters behind Jackson. I found this one 'Back in 1995' "The statute of limitations expired in 1995 as well, so the thieves and anyone who participated in the theft cannot be prosecuted." So the theft at Gardner Museum happened on March 18,1990.
By 1995, the statue of limitations expired. Tell me... which hairstyle is the trend back in 1980s-1990s? Now what is Jaebeom's hair in the teaser for Last Piece? Also, bonus... Keanu and Patrick in point Break.
And as I told you, the took the piece already. Empty frame = Replaced. What is the Last Piece? I believed it's Rembrandt's The Storm On the Sea of Galilee. Next to the empty frame that was supposed to be for Galilee, you can see Madonna holding baby jesus that we went over above
Rembrandt's portrait when he was young (2 on the right are self-portrait. Bottom left is someone else.) As you see that his art style is very bold in dark colors. And when you compared to some of the scenes in Breath's, they had completely black background.
Rembrandt's other famous piece "The Night Watch" where the play on words from the title applied to the mv, as well as the whole profession of thievery lol.
Okay I'm done for now, there's so much more that I forgot to cover. There's a lot of tie in, but I've been waiting for them to show me Gardner Museum since a moot showed the museum to me last year while we work on the theory. It's finally coming...
