I will be starting this thread with mentioning this page on Instagram with a following of 4 million. They post homophobic and racist content especially aiming towards bts. Countless efforts have been made to take down these posts, however the admin does not comply.

what the problem with this "meme culture" of India is that the admins and the people running such pages on Instagram with huge followings, post such content that influences the mind of the general public, making them think that this is the popular opinion, +

, and that this opinion must be right. And that is why, it is so hard to educate the locals in India regarding such topics.

when you see these memes, you might call it an insecurity over their understanding of masculinity. It is because men in india have always been taught what it means to be a "man" and their definition of being a man is the embodiment of toxic masculinity.

so I Will be continuing this thread with this incident where a fanboy was defending BT$ and got r@pe/ death threads and his schoolmates made fun of him and refused to help him saying "don't defame our school" "everyone wants justice nowadays on social media"

this user @/BirjuGohil5 misgendered and offended many people, disrespected the LGBTQ+ community and went on bragging about the fact that they got many interactions out of the situation, implying that they used bts, army and the LGBTQ+ community simply for clout and interaction.

At this point we all desimys are so tired we can't even try to educate such homophobes bc everytime we try they troll us, we get trolled here for loving and supporting BT$.
