There& #39;s something I started to realize have during this pandemic is that I really like being with people especially my friends. I mean I always did like hanging out with people, but now I have realized that I really do enjoy hanging out with people and its where I am most happy.
Throughout the pandemic, I have been started to become socially deprived and drained because of the lack of social interaction outside of my family. I may be losing contact with my friends, but not completely since I still talk to some of them or least I try to.
This has made me realize that what if I don& #39;t ever get to talk to my friends in person, make those memories that we& #39;ll remember someday. What If the only people I ever get to talk in person are the people in my social bubble which include my family and family friends.
What If its going to be like this for the rest of this time including when next year comes. Being in our homes and never really knowing what& #39;s like to actually talk to people in person and to have those moments in life worth remembering.
I didn& #39;t even get to live out my whole senior year like I wanted to with my friends which included not having a prom and graduation. Right now I& #39;m not even getting the college experience I wanted which included being on campus and meeting new people.
Also, final thing cause this thread is getting long is the fact that even though most of us can& #39;t get out and see our friends, there are still people out going out and seeing each other. The majority of these people were my friends.
I can guarantee you guys that when they were hanging out that they were following social distancing guidelines, got tested beforehand, and had masks with them. If they can get to see each other in person and hang out, why can& #39;t I?
I know we are in a pandemic, but I just really wanna be able to see my friends in person and hang out with them like how it used to be back in the "old times" when it was possible.
