bradley chubb explodes off the line and beats austin jackson inside with ease. nice job by tua to avoid the sack. jakeem grant is in one on one coverage which usually means he's got a step. right read, bad throw IMO 1/29
jackson and flowers again struggle to contain the rush off the EDGE. but tua does a nice job of sensing the pressure and stepping up into the pocket. unforunately, tua gets excited and sails one well over grant's reach. this is the second 'bad' throw on the opening drive. 2/29
i'm not sure what tua saw on this play but the only option IMO was the checkdown to gesicki. play was negated by a defensive hold on a.j boyue. 3/29

nice job by breida to pick up the blitz, allowing tua time to salsa dance around the pocket. he eventually plants his feet and fires a laser over the reach of 6'3 devante parker's head. (this ball may have been picked if DVP doesn't get his fingers on it) 5/29
this time chubb lines up opposite of jesse davis on the left side of denver's defense. the pressure again makes tua uneasy and he never sees a wide open devante parker running a corner route at midfield. tua gets a few yards on the ground but miami is forced to punt. 6/29
denver's defense studied the tape and were ready for grant's deadly comeback/curl routes. breida gets enough of the LB to give tua enough time to make the throw but bouye is waiting. 7/29
bradley chubb (55) and malik reed (59) get immediate pressure. however, if tua sees the blitzing DB he should be able to get that ball out to malcolm perry, who immediately turns to look for the ball. minimal gain, but all it takes is perry making one defenders miss. 8/29
3rd and 18, salvon ahmed back in the game after a shoulder injury, dolphins spread the defense out and give ahmed a chance to make a play behind a wall of blockers. punt. 9/29
malik reed is too quick off the EDGE and salvon ahmed completely whiffs on the chip block, tua tries to get the ball out to laird but it's incomplete. 10/29
i like the playcalling here by chan. dolphins come out in five wide, tua sees the blitz and finds gesicki underneath for 8 yards on first down. 11/29
same play as the one above but this time it's nearly picked by justin simmons. idk who's at fault here. the placement from tua is #notgood and gesicki looks like he takes a step outside to get a little more separation from the LB. minimal gain. 12/29
3rd and 4, denver's defensive backs are playing press. o-line does a well enough job of picking up the blitz and tua hits parker on the curl.

it's late and i could be seeing things, but this is the third time the dolphins called this play on this drive before the half. parker makes a hell of a catch on the quick slant to move the chains and keep the drive alive. 15/29

i would've liked for jakeem to try to get to the outside of the DB, allowing a little more separation between him and justin simmons. but the safe throw was to parker in the middle of the field with tons of green. 23/29

one thing i love about tua is when he sees a guy in one-on-one coverage he isn't scared to give his receiver a chance. DVP almost comes down with ANOTHER unbelievable catch. 25/29
