In all seriousness, as hillariously assanine and ignorant as the cancellation coven is. There is actually a problem with cancel culture within the owl house community. It has to do with the frequency of TELLING someone to unfollow instead of SUGGESTING.

Id like to remind you all that it should always be a suggestion for people to unfollow someone. It should come from a place of "this person premotes harmful ideals and it might not be a safe idea to continue to support them and give them a platform that is taken seriously"

It should never be "unfollow because they bad and if you follow you bad", no. Its important to allow people to come to their own conclusions and then judge their character from there. If they choose to continue and support someone, fine, its their choice and you dont have to +

Interact with them after that point if you find their stance unethical. My point is we should stop pressuring people with threats of cutting off interaction because it only causes people to feel fear rather than motivate them to educate themselves.

Of course, I don't blame anyone for being up front and saying "if you contunue to support [insert problematic person] I would personally feel unsafe interacting with you from this point further", that is perfectly valid. I just personally think it should be worded as such.
