what are ya’ll thoughts on the fake memories bit?

yuuji’s cursed technique? a curse put unto him by his grandfather? a small hint of a deep loneliness yuuji may have thus him cursing everyone fighting him into being his family?

my thoughts: a thread

so this thread is just a list of my theories for why yuuji has been appearing in fake memories of his opponents. this has happened twice already versus todo and versus choso. ngl i LITERALLY thought it was a joke at first but its happened twice ,,,,

1) cursed technique

MAYBE its a cursed technique he got from his unnamed mysterious parents. We could see from hanami that there are cursed techniques that strip away your will to fight so maybe yuuji’s fam’s is similar such that they can alter memories to evoke other emotions

2) grandfather’s curse

Its been mentioned a LOT of times how yuuji (jokingly?) refers to his grandfather’s last wish as a “troublesome curse”. What if its not actually a joke and that his grandfather’s own loneliness and regrets had cursed yuuji into never being alone?

1&2 both however assume that yuuji’s family is somehow related to big time shamans just like how yuuta had cursed rika into becoming a special grade curse (see volume 0)

OR maybe the regret was just so strong it caused a curse without bigtime cursed energy

3) yuuji’s loneliness

anyone can see how independent and strong yuuji is but we had a glimpse of an inner turmoil he had with himself during THAT fight. We can never rly know how dark and deep people’s thoughts can go.

we never see yuuji’s friends or him contacting anyone. He lost his grandfather he doesnt have his parents or other relatives + it was mentioned by fushiguro&kugisaki how he literally just moved to tokyo without a single thought (yes THAT dinner scene)

for someone as friendly and famous as itadori in his hometown,,,, why was he all alone? with this we COULD justify that yuuji holds a deep loneliness inside that was reinforced by his grandfathers last wish. PLUS HE HAS SUKUNA INSIDE so he could be unconsciously using him,,,

Everything in this thread is just full of assumptions HAHAHAHHA i literally do not know anything plus gojo has the 6 eyes and he himself said yuuji has nothing on him (cursed techniques or anything) so its vrryyy unlikely

but the fake memories bit has happened twice and seems kinda serious,,,, WELL LETS SEE SO EXCITED FOR THE SHIBUYA ARC i want yuuta to appear
