Not gonna bother writing today, so I am gonna briefly talk about my project and that is gonna be it lol
With this project, I am doing a little experiment where I write a "lean" draft that primarily focuses on accomplishing two things:
1) a coherent plot
2) clear character motivations
I am doing this by relying heavily on the Save the Cat method (which I am obsessed with)

Not recommending this to anyone lol, this is purely a personal journey. I have been completing various projects for more than four years and I know my writing process, my strengths, and my weaknesses. But so far, I think this might work for me
Before I begin a project in earnest, I *must* have an outline where each POV character has Save the Cat filled out, and I cannot fill it out without knowing what the character wants, why they want it, what is stopping them, and how they will overcome it.
ALL THAT BEING SAID. I like where this project is going. I like how far I have come. And I am gonna refer to this thread whenever I feel like I am failing. Because I am not.
