look, we gotta talk about the lateral ableism inherent in “i’m fine exposing other people to COVID for my own mental health” as perpetuated by people who are mentally ill but not immunocompromised.

disability justice is NOT individualism! it is not just you do whatever you want if it helps you personally! it is about prioritizing the most effected, loves.

i promise you living under constant threat of a painful death is not the boon to mental health you think it is.

i love us. i want us all to survive this. but the idea that risking COVID exposure of others because of mental health is just ableist capitalist individualism.

there is nothing i would like better than a hug (yes, i mean some ****) but if i got sick I would likely die.

i’ve seen mental health advocates eating in restaurants ~*~for their mental health~*~ WTF does that even mean??? what about the servers and the family of the servers?

what of their bodies and lives? that’s not disability justice because *that’s not fucking just*

using disability justice language to excuse killing disabled people is low, even if you are also disabled.

physically disabled ppl are being care rationed at hospitals. as a black trans disabled person THEY WILL NOT SAVE ME IF I HAVE TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL. what’s not clicking?
