I think it was Saban who observed that you really don't get minority cultures (viz., everyone except WEIRD culture) until you realize the extent to which they are driven by rage and humiliation that white people did so very much.

The CCP wants to lie to us about China. So does the US Government, on many levels. So do our corporations, so does our media, so do other countries, so do universities—there is a LOT of money and power going into spreading bullshit about China!
