i created a rule for myself that i can only post subtweets at least a month after i write them
which has made my life. truly so much better.
which has made my life. truly so much better.
not only do half of them die in my drafts (good. they probably shouldn& #39;t have been sent)
but it also means that i can avoid inadvertently hurting people if i& #39;m reacting to something that is a reaction to something else

bc things get warped! it happens!
posting subtweets live means i monitor them + the timeline for hours after to be responsible & make sure I didn& #39;t miss critical information & don& #39;t direct harm unto the wrong people.

but posting it weeks later means nobody knows who ticked me off, and i lose less time of my life to the doomscroll, and there& #39;s no one else& #39;s chatter influencing my opinions.
you don& #39;t have to live your digital life this way!!!
but it& #39;s made mine a lot better. so if you& #39;re tired & being reactionary is draining you. maybe this will help. if the convo is important, it will still be relevant a month later
