God I hate cash bail. Struggling neighbor calls me cuz his girlfriend got picked up for something wrong and stupid. I’ve known them for a few years. Non-violent hooked on meth. Bad luck and worse judgement. But him coming up with $160 is like a million dollars to him. Bad system

I’ve help with cash to bail out a few struggling neighbors. It’s just such an unfair system. And isn’t a deterrent. And actually makes matters worse. But what do I know.

I appreciate the offers but I’m never taking money from anyone here. I’m sure all of us have neighbors right around us that need help. We’ll figure it out, I hope.
