Ben Burgis claims to be against cancel culture, but in probably the most clear and gruesome form of cancel cultural, people being murdered over a cartoon deemed to be blasphemy, he doesn't even have the balls to truly condemn it. He instead chooses to criticize laïcité.

French law is racially, ethnically, and religiously completely neutral. The current complaints against it are that it doesn't provide special privileges for religious groups. This goes along with a massive misinformation campaign in which foreign governments are involved.

Thomas Jefferson also stated that there should be a metaphorical wall between church and state. This is something that we have failed to live up to in practice in America. Our Constitution is godless, but we don't live up to our Constitution there.
