Now, all about that farewell last night. It was pretty emotional because Undertaker was a huge part of my childhood as a wrestling fan. Seeing his entrance on Raw for the first time when he was feuding with Hunter for Mania 27 was magical and I already knew this guy is a legend.
And seeing that match was, first of all, really brutal! But it was an amazing match and left me wanting more. And they had another match the next year and it was even better than their match the year prior.
Like the storytelling that Hunter, Taker, and Shawn did in that match was so so good. The drama and excitement in that match was just through the roof.
The point here is everyone, whether you're born in the 90s or the 2000s, you have, at some point, seen an Undertaker match while the streak was still active. Plus the fact that even non-wrestling fans know and love Undertaker just proves what kind of a legend he is.
Just wanted to share my Undertaker story here in this thread to pay tribute to one of, if not, THE greatest of all time. No one in the wrestling business has had the career longevity and relevancy that Taker did.
