Adding polls to sponsored stories brought my CTR up to 1.3% from 1.19%.

Avg. CTR for Instagram Stories is 0.33%.

Remember this stat for your pitches 😌

CTR = impressions/link clicks
If you cannot add swipe-up links to your stories, calculate your CTR from your link in bio.

Bonus points if it’s a link in bio for a sponsored post.

Being a nano influencer isn’t a setback if you know your numbers.
I was speaking with @yamayamason_ on Saturday. She has 6K on IG. We were reviewing her pitch & we removed the amount of followers she had.

She also only highlighted her ER (which is GREAT). However, the brand she was pitching runs their campaigns based on awareness.
Meaning, their KPI/goals is reach.

So, we added a simple sentence to strengthen her pitch to let the brand know that she can perform just as well as micro influencers.
The sentence?

“I have an average reach of 18.2K over the past 30 days. Therefore, I’m consistently reaching double my audience size and building awareness for the products I share with my audience.”
We don’t have to overwhelm the pitch with a bunch of numbers. They can ask for more detail if they want.

However, this ONE sentence lets them know that as a nano-influencer, Yamaya can DELIVER just as well as someone with 20K, & sometimes, even 50K followers.
