I’m getting tired of the growing negativity trend towards digital atm. Without the likes of Zoom, Teams etc this year would have been a whole lot worse. Digital gives an equality of access that isn’t always seen by those who have always had it.

I’m all for going back to some f2f meetings when it is safe but let us not underestimate the power and the ‘levelling up’ digital solutions have done for us across our sector. I’ve met and brought more people together from different areas than I could’ve imagined this year.

And if digital isn’t working for you then look at why... is it planning, equipment, training? Talk to those who are doing it well and see what ideas you can adopt. Let’s not get drawn into a digital blame game. Let’s embrace it and make it work for us. Rant over.
