Taysom Hill was awesome in his first start. Whether this was a product of the Falcons defense or even if he will ever play this good again remains to be seen but for one afternoon he made all the right reads and threw the ball accurately.
A thread with the most interesting plays:
I think the pressure gets to him as he's about to throw this. You could go either way on whether he should throw this or not:
I'd have to look it up but it's very possible this is the same concept from the infamous non- pass interference play against the Rams except to Deonte Harris and not to TommyLee Lewis
A lot of play action in this one. Here's the first of many good reads and throws off action
More play action designed to beat all the 1-high safety stuff that the Falcons wanna play
Same idea to beat the 1-high safety. The addition of Emmanuel Sanders is going to start paying dividends as the season rolls on
People who have been following me for a while know that I will not pass up the opportunity to show a QB go through his progressions to find his checkdown. That's what happens here
The touchdown run in the 4th quarter was again exhausting all his reads before taking off. Love that shit
The big play to Sanders early is underthrown most likely because he is (credit to @nick_underhill for catching that). Falcons didn't rotate to cover 2 a lot this game (have in the past) but they do here and get cooked
