The AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccine candidate is in the COVAX portfolio and does not require ultra-cold chain infrastructure for transport, storage and delivery. This has significant implications for access for all countries – particularly lower-income ones. #OneWorldProtected

We now have three promising vaccine candidates that show signs they will be highly effective in preventing severe disease. This is good news for our goal to bring the acute stage of the pandemic under control by the end of 2021. #COVAX
