What Newcastle need to become a top team. (Excluding Manager)(THREAD)

CB- Newcastle have a lot of CBs, but none of them are actually any good. Lascelles starts every game and is captain but is terrible, Schär won’t thrive under Bruce and Fernandez is getting on. Personally, I think we need a quick, tall CB and Fikayo Tomori is just that.

RB- RB is another position where we have a few average players. Manquillo, Yedlin and Krafth are all decent on their day but they all have very noticeable weaknesses. I think we need an explosive full back who can attack just as well as he can defend. I say we go for Dumfries.

CM- An Enforcer has been needed at Newcastle ever since Mo Diamé left us. We desperately need someone who can break up the play and then send the team forward. Imo, we should sign either Geoffrey Kondogbia or Zambo Anguissa.

AM- We really do lack creativity in our squad even with the likes of ASM & Shelvey. Although Almiron works hard I really don’t think he’s good enough to start for us hence why I think we need an attacking midfielder. I think Matheus Pereira would be an unreal signing.
