you know what’s cool about namjoon? is that he usually speaks in metaphors and implements imagery in his speech in korean. he uses idioms and saying in his own way. when he speaks english; he translates some of this. it gives u more perspective in how his thought process is like
like someone who doesn’t think in imagery and connects idioms to speech, wouldn’t not be using sentence like “admit the shadows”. you fully understand it tho and it makes you view something you thought of in another unique way.
it’s simple word choices he makes in his speech and does without much thought behind that makes those sentences hold a bigger meaning to them. another example is bibily hills. the mix of korean and english sayings makes both speakers look into the other language’s meaning
i don’t know how to explain it better but he isn’t multilingual in a way where it’s separate but in a way where they use the same space differently. he also can easily mix languages and their history together and make his words have impact in every language he used.
