There are folks on here who became popular during the "Stressful/Demon" age of Twitter and have refused to evolve their politics who deeply resent how open others are to radicalization & critique on here

Now every week we see one of them throwing a tantrum bc they're aging out of relevancy and their uninformed political hot takes no longer hit. Those of us who consider ourselves babies in this journey see the jig of #representation & they can't handle it.
Their politics never evolved past "My President is Black" so they spend their days getting dunked on by people way smarter than them because they think their decade of Twitter visibility gave them room to be experts on shit they don't ever read about. They are wrong.
Their arrogance keeps them from reading the many resources people make available to them in efforts to educate & facilitate fruitful conversations. Blue checks, degrees, and "joined in 2009" are all they think they need to be an authority on a topic.
We'll be seeing their tantrums more often as we transition (haha) through this administration. Their thirst for engagement & relevancy sans critical analysis will be flagrant but it will also be their downfall.
Unlearning the pervasive indoctrination we've all been subject to takes humility. With that, there's nothing that people won't share with you in your quest for growth.
HOWEVERRR, the energy will be matched tenfold if you violently push back on critique of the status quo.

All that to say, you either evolve your politics or get left behind. You gotta get with it or get lost, ya understand?
