you know when you have a really big realization but if you word it out loud it sounds really really obvious well for the past month I’ve been obsessed with thinking about how much of the art we consume is made my millionaires

like it’s obvious in the sense that sometimes mainstream music / movies / etc *makes* you rich and then you keep making shit but now you’re rich

but it’s soooo weird that so much culture is made by millionaires. Like I know it fits into capitalism perfectly. I get it. I get the idea of a ruling class.
