When you are dealing with a situation in which your friend is involved, and you do an analysis (informed by your ideological leanings) and arrive at a conclusion that shows that your friend is siding with the oppressor, what do you do? Do you side with your friend?
Do you side with the oppressed, the exploited, the side that is fighting for freedom, and directly oppose your friend, who is on the side of the oppressor, the exploiter?
If you'd choose to side with your friend in such a situation, if your loyalty to your friend takes precedence over an ideological and political commitment to freedom and liberation, you are a LIBERAL!
If you'd dump the friend and take the side of freedom and liberation, you are a RADICAL. You are a comrade. Che Guevara once said: "If you are capable of trembling with indignation each time that an injustice is committed anywhere in the world, we are comrades."
The radical's friend is justice, freedom, liberation whereas a liberal will die with their friends, even when these friends are the oppressor and exploiters.
Those of you who are friends with NRM people, with pro-Museveni people, with pro-dictatorship people and are always taking their side, because friendship, you are liberals and you are on the side of dictatorship and oppression, not on the people's side, not on freedom's side.
Radicalism is not just an aesthetic. It is not a brand. It is not a lifestyle. It is not an identity. It is a practice. So we see your hollow claims to radicalism and we call you "spies" because we see and know what you do, who your friends are and how they use you to oppress us.
